This sanitation plant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn was just begging to be photographed! I'd driven past it about a dozen times on the way to and from work and especially at night it is like a beacon for those that divert attention from the Manhattan Skyline. Driving through Greenpoint there are not too many tall structures to see as most of the area is pretty run down industrial sites or trendy row housing (Greenpoint is pretty hipster these days) so a large metal structure lit internally with purples lights kind of sticks out. Hopefully I caught some of the other worldliness of this facility.
