Central Railroad NJ

The Historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal in Jersey City is located right on the waters of the Hudson River overlooking lower Manhattan, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.  Originally built in the late 1800s and serving as a main thoroughfare for immigrants coming through Ellis Island at the turn of the century the station went out of use in the late '60s.

The station really is something to see if you make it out to Jersey City and Liberty State Park.  Through the winter the trees are all bare and cold but in the summer all the leaves transform the area into a neat Urbex jungle.
