Park Avenue Armory This is photo is sort of a two for one.  I designed the lighting in this room for a special event and also shot it in HDR!  This room at the Park Avenue Armory was originally designed by Tiffany with most of the elements are remaining or have been restored.  It's hard to describe hte style of the room because it ranges from French to Moroccan to Japanese depending on what motif your looking at.  For example - just look at the frieze, ceiling and stained glass.  There is a lot going on.

My favorite piece in this room is definitely the grandfather clock which is original from 1892.  Working in restored building like this you just have to remember that insurance can't cover something that is irreplaceable...needless to say  we didn't hang a light even close to the clock.
