I'm learning that anytime there is a rain storm just before sunset I should get the photo gear ready to go. This is a frame of an HDR time lapse I was experimenting with and I waited until the rain had just passed before leaving work and walking down to the waterfront to setup shop. The clouds after a passing rain never seem to disappoint if you can time it out correctly.
I also experimented with HDR Efex Pro in Lightroom for this shot...the jury is still out but I like the interface a little better than Photomatix and the control point adjustments are a nice touch. No batch processing though so I'll have to keep playing with it to see if its worth the jump.
