Winter in the northeast is always tough on motivation to go out and shoot and usually traveling somewhere gives a nice boost in motivation and creativity.  That said both times I've traveled to Cincinnati have been in January and (unfortunately) Cincinnati is a pretty crappy place in January.  I brought my camera gear along on the trip nonetheless to try and make the most of it but a snow storm foiled any plans to go out and shoot.
This shot was from the hotel looking over a parking garage just as the snow started falling.  Despite the less than favorable conditions this scene is a nice reminder that you don't always need to rush out to create the scene.
