I'll start by saying that is rains a lot in Brevard, NC...A Lot. The amount of rain that the Pisgah forest receives is apparently the closest thing the US has to a rainforest that's not Hawaii. All that to say that the handful of days that I was able to explore the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding forest resulting mostly in rain or fog so there aren't many pictures to show. I was so determined to get some shots despite the weather that just started to look for interesting strips of roads and prayed for a quick break in the fog.
For this shot I parked myself on a quiet stretch of road and just spent some time composing the tunnel for a little while. Luckily, the road staying quiet enough for me snap a few bracket sets.
