Continuing the music theme this week...this is a shot of Harlan from The Rusty Guns. We did a shoot last month at The Way Station in Brooklyn which was (no joke) a Dr. Who Themed bar - complete with steam punk guns hung on the wall. Harlan is looking pretty bad ass in this photo if I say so myself.

Last week I shot a show for a friend's band "Huff This" at the Highline Ballroom. Shooting in these clubs is always tricky because you really just don't have any good lighting to work with from a photo standpoint. That said there were some interesting projections going on in the space and the drummer was right in the projector cone for the US images which looked pretty cool. I'm glad that I have the D7000 which does amazingly well in low light...I shot the whole show at ISO 4000 and along with Lightroom Noise Reduction I was able to get them looking pretty decent.

"All We Need" by Kenyon Adams. We had a long long night shooting this video...actually 2 nights but it felt like one :). I lit the video and would not have been able to do it without good friends Chris Davis and Rachel Harrington (DP and Directer respectively) who brought me in on it. This video was shot on a Red One so please click on HD and enjoy full screen. Enjoy:
